R/Tempe Core Values

In 2022, the leaders of Redemption Tempe spent time praying and fasting for God’s direction for areas He wanted our church to focus on. As we prayed, fasted, and connected with the congregation, we identified three areas of focus that have become core values at our church.

The three areas are:

1. We believe that All of Life is All for Jesus. Things like our work, our friendships, how we spend our time and money all matter because Jesus is Lord over all of creation.

2. Word & Spirit. We believe that we encounter God through how He’s revealed Himself in His Word and also the power of His Spirit working in the hearts of the believers. We want to be immersed in Scripture and in Prayer. 

3. Family Culture. God has designed His church to live like a family and not like a social club or Fortune 500 company. We want to connect with each other at a deeper than transactional level, receiving and contributing hospitality, wisdom, and spiritual gifts as we seek to love one another as the family of God.
