March First Wednesday: Faith for our Moment

February 16, 2022  |  wwilliams

Today, many Christians in America feel like exiles within their own country. Some yearn to return to the Christendom of an idealized past. Others seek to assimilate the values of our culture into the church. In between are those uncomfortable with either extreme—exiles looking for a new way of understanding what faith looks like in a polarized, pluralistic, post-Christian culture.
This evening will equip us to live faithfully, prophetically, and imaginatively, compromising neither our principles nor our compassion as we live out our faith in our complex cultural moment. Our speaker is Rick McKinley, lead pastor of Imago Dei Community in Portland, OR, author of five books, and a nationally respected voice on issues surrounding faith, culture, and the church. Let us know you’re coming by signing up below!

*Since we are having a food truck this month, we will begin dinner at 5PM and will take orders until 6:30PM
