Affordable Christmas/Advent Offering

For Affordable Christmas this year, we’re helping families at risk of homelessness stay in their homes and off the streets. We’re partnering with Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA) to alleviate the financial burden of rent and utilities for families who are struggling to make ends meet. In addition, our Advent offering will also go to continuing to support Redemption’s Foster Care ministry and our global mission partners.

In addition, on Sundays after service during Advent, you will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from our City Outreach and Global Partnership groups on volunteers and support opportunities.

Advent Reading Plan

Advent is a season of longing where we reflect on the ways God’s people longed for the Messiah to come, and we celebrate his arrival. Advent is also a season where we look forward to the Second Advent when Jesus returns to make all things new. During this season, we want to turn our attention on Jesus and encounter his presence in our lives. One of the ways we are doing this is through a daily reading plan that highlights the themes of Advent (hope, joy, peace, and love).
